2024 Telstra Best Business Award South Australian Winner

June 20, 2024 – Telstra has announced the South Australian winners of its 22nd consecutive Telstra Best in Business Awards, which recognize entrepreneurship and business excellence. Selected from more than 30,000 nominations nationwide, the South Australian winners represent the pinnacle of innovation and commitment in their respective categories.

“Accelerating Women Award

mumamo” was honored to receive the “Accelerating Women Award” for a woman-led infant formula company. Starting from a strong base in South Australia, mumamoo has expanded to more than 800 stores nationwide.

‘Building Communities Award’

Chat Well Allied Health won the award. This pediatric allied health clinic has been instrumental in providing high quality services that empower children and their families, particularly with an approach that affirms neurodiversity to support a wide range of diagnoses.

“Advocating for Health”.

Communication eXtra was honored with this award. As a registered NDIS provider, they have been steadfast in their support of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, ensuring that each person’s unique challenges and strengths are recognized and valued.

“Embracing Innovation”.

Transmutation is an artisanal-scale recycling and manufacturing business recognized for proving to their customers that waste can be transformed into valuable products. They sell a range of products from clothing to home furnishings while championing the circular economy.

“Aboriginal Excellence Award

Bungala Food Services was honored with this award. This is a meal delivery service that not only provides delicious meals, but also creates important employment opportunities for local Aboriginal women in Port Augusta by providing them with internships and a supportive work environment.

“Outstanding Growth

QMS NDT & NACE has been recognized for providing professional services to industries such as defense, mining and manufacturing. Their skilled technicians are instrumental in identifying risks and improving equipment reliability.

“Promoting Sustainable Development”.

2XE Corporation was honored with this award. This is a consulting firm that has been guiding companies towards net-zero emissions, focusing on overall return on investment and sustainable practices.

The winning businesses underwent a rigorous judging process that assessed their economic sustainability, operational efficiency, progressive leadership and community contribution. These South Australian winners will travel to Sydney for the national judging on July 20, followed by a gala dinner to reveal the national winners.
