Ferrari will race in a special red and white livery at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza as a tribute to the team’s victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans earlier this year.

Ferrari confirmed the news in a statement on Friday, saying the livery will be “a celebration of its rich history and success.”

The red-and-white livery pays homage to the colors of the Ferrari 330 P4 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1967.

Ferrari’s win at Le Mans this year was the team’s first win at the event since 1965 and the first for an Italian car since 1997.

The Italian Grand Prix is one of the most important races in Formula One, and the pressure is always on Ferrari to do well at home.

The Ferrari team is hoping that the special livery will give them an extra boost when they challenge for victory on September 10th.
