Reporter: “You held an event in Manila about signing shoes, what was the response from local fans? How is the Lakers presence in the Philippines?”

Reeves said, “Yeah, it was crazy, I’ve been to a lot of events, a lot of meet and greets, but this was very different. I felt like I was at a concert, the whole room was packed, there were Lakers jerseys everywhere, almost everyone was a Lakers fan, and I think they kind of like the Warriors too. But everywhere I go, at least 80 percent of them are Lakers fans.”

“I went golfing a couple days ago and everyone on the course came up to me and took pictures and stuff, which was fun. I never thought I’d be so famous personally, which is understandable in the U.S. because that’s where I’m from and that’s where I play. But to get so much love and support in another country, it kind of shocked me. I’m thankful for all the support they’ve given me and I hope to return to the Philippines again sometime. Reeves said.
